My new favorite daily-web-thing is The Daily Palette, a project by the University of Iowa to highlight the state’s artists – writers, painters, photographers, sculptors, video artists, etc. Something new everyday from someone in Iowa!

I found this video of Rives performing at TED talks on my favorite design blog, swissmiss, in January. Re-found it in my bookmarks today. Rives is a wonderful poet, I’d love to see him perform someday. More about Rives and his poetry on his website.
